A site built for your business

I build it from scratch, you see it working before you pay, and if you hate it you have lost nothing but a phone call.

What a site costs

Fixed prices, so you know the number before any work starts. If your site needs something neither of these covers, I quote it before I build it. I am in Cleveland, Tennessee, and I build for businesses anywhere.

Starter Site

Everything you need to be found

$500

Everything a small operation needs to stop being invisible.

  • Up to 5 pages
  • Works properly on a phone
  • Contact form that emails you
  • Your hours, services and location
  • Live in 5 to 7 days

Good for: barbers, food trucks, solo contractors, salons

Monthly Care

Optional, after the build

$75 a month

Worth it if your site changes often, or if the idea of logging in anywhere makes you want to lie down.

  • Hosting and domain handled
  • Text, photo and price updates on request
  • Backups and security patches
  • I fix it when something breaks

Skip it if: your site never changes.

Built in code, not dragged into place

Every site here starts as an empty file and is built in custom code, with no page builder and no theme. That is why they load in about a second, and why yours will not look like anybody else's.

Custom code, no templates You own the files

In every site

Every site I hand over has all of it. None of it is an upgrade or a line item.

  • Built mobile first. Most of your visitors are on a phone, so that is the version I design before the desktop one.
  • Fast. A site that takes six seconds to load has already lost the person. These load in about one.
  • Readable by screen readers. Proper headings, alt text, keyboard navigation.
  • Security headers configured. The same hardening I use on my own site.
  • You own it. The files are yours. If we part ways you take the site with you.

The free demo

Before you pay me anything, I build a real working version of your site and send you a link.

It is a working site, not a mockup or a slideshow. You can open it on your phone, click through it, and show it to whoever else has a say. If you decide you do not want it, you say so and we are done. No invoice, no hard feelings.

Why I do it this way

Asking a stranger for a deposit on something they have never seen is a lot to ask, especially at my age. It is easier to show you.

How a build goes

  1. We talk

Fifteen minutes on the phone or over text. What you do, who you sell to, and what you want the site to accomplish.

  2. I build the demo

Two to four days later you get a link to a working site with your real content in it. You look at it on your own phone.

  3. You tell me what to change

Wrong colour, wrong photo, wording you hate. Two rounds of changes are included, and I have never needed to count.

  4. It goes live

I connect your domain, set up the contact form, and hand you everything. You pay when the site is live, not before.

Before you ask

What does it cost to keep it online?

A domain name runs about $12 to $20 a year, paid to the registrar, not to me. Hosting for a site this size is free on Netlify, which is where I put most of them. So after the build you are looking at roughly $15 a year unless you want Monthly Care.

Do I need to write anything?

No. Tell me about your business in a phone call and I will write the pages. You read them and tell me where I got it wrong, which is much easier than starting from a blank page.

What if I already have a website?

Send me the link. Sometimes the honest answer is that yours is fine and you should keep your money. If it is slow, broken on phones, or has not been touched in five years, I will tell you that too.

Can you take online orders or bookings?

Booking and scheduling, yes, usually by connecting a tool you already use. Full ecommerce with a cart and inventory is a bigger job than the two sites above and I would quote it separately after we talk about what you are selling.

How do I pay?

Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or a card through Stripe. Payment is due when the site goes live. For builds over $1,000 I will usually ask for half once you have approved the demo.

What if I want changes a year from now?

Text me. Small changes to an existing client's site are usually free or close to it. Bigger additions get quoted. You are not locked into a monthly plan to get help.

Let me build you the demo

It costs you a phone call and it costs me a couple of evenings. Worst case you get a free look at what your business could have online.
